Acting Pennsylvania Secretary of State Leigh Chapman says the state expects to have official results from the 2022 midterm elections days after November 8th. In an interview with the Washington Post, she said exact counting will take a while as there were more than a million mail-in and absentee ballots requested. Chapman noted there were reports of only “minimal” issues at polling places Tuesday. She says the hiccups, which included some polls opening late, power outages and a gas leak, were all resolved.
