FIGHTING VIOLENT CRIME

Governor Larry Hogan is taking huge steps to fight violent crime before leaving office.  Several new measures were announced yesterday that include the ‘Knock and Talk’ surge initiative and the Baltimore City feeder route task force.  Hogan said law enforcement will be ramped up around Baltimore City and Anne Arundel County during the overnight hours to help lower gang and criminal activity.  Maryland State Police and other agencies are partnering for the initiative.
