A decision to go live with online sports betting is expected this week. The Sports Wagering Application Review Commission is holding its license award meeting on November 16th. During that time, the commission will consider awarding ten licenses. Governor Larry Hogan thanked everyone for their efforts and said, “… we now anticipate a launch of mobile sports betting this month.” He said they’re cautiously optimistic that it will be in time for Thanksgiving NFL football games.
