GOVERNOR ELECT SHAPIRO GIVES FIRST NEWS CONFERENCE

Pennsylvania Governor-elect Josh Shapiro is easing into his new role. At his first news conference at the Capitol Wednesday, he said he will remain as attorney general until he is sworn in as Governor January 17th.  He said he’ll provide his nomination to the state senate for a person to succeed him as attorney general.  The person will serve the remainder of Shapiro’s four-year term which will last through 2024.
