Allegany County will receive $2 million as part of a new funding category in the federal Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, to rehabilitate or replace fair to poorly rated county-maintained bridges around the state. The county will use its share of the funding to rehabilitate the Old Mount Pleasant Road Bridge over Evitts Creek and the Mason Road Bridge over Evitts creek. The limited federal funding requires no local government dollars. All projects funded are ready to move to active construction.
