RIFLE HUNTING DEER SEASON STARTS ON SATURDAY

If you’re the outdoors type, another special day this week might mean more to you than Thanksgiving.  Saturday is the start of rifle-hunting deer season across Pennsylvania.  The regular firearm season to hunt both buck and doe lasts from November 26th through December 10th.  State officials say the season is closed for one day — on Sunday, December 3rd.  In most of the state, hunters are required to find three points on an antler for the deer to be a legal buck.
