The West Virginia Professional Charter Schools Board said yes to a new charter school that will focus on nursing. The WIN Academy, which stands for Workforce Initiative for Nurses will now be able to provide studies for those looking to get a head start in nursing. The two-year program for those in the 11th and 12th grades will be the state’s sixth charter school.
