NEARLY 1,000 PA. CRASHES INVESTIGATED OVER THANKSGIVING WEEKEND

Pennsylvania State Police have released their traffic statistics from the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.  Troopers  investigated nearly a thousand crashes that included two fatalities and nearly 200 injuries. They arrested nearly 540 people for DUI and issued nearly 93-hundred speeding tickets over the five-day holiday.  They also wrote nearly 11-hundred tickets for people not wearing a seat belt, and over 100 for not securing children in safety seats.
