A teenager is awaiting sentencing after being convicted of killing his family in Kanawha County. Gavin Smith was found guilty yesterday of shooting and killing his mom, stepdad, and two younger siblings two years ago. The victims were found at their home in Elkview by another family member. Smith had been on trial for three counts of first degree murder and one count of second-degree murder. He will be sentenced next month.
