COVID TEST POSITIVITY TOPS 11 PER CENT IN MARYLAND

The COVID-19 test positivity rate is rising in Maryland.  According to the Department of Health the rate stands at 11-point-three-five-percent and there are 581 patients hospitalized with the virus. Health officials expect the number of cases to rise as more people gather indoors for holiday events.  To date more than one-point-one-million Marylanders are fully vaccinated with their primary COVID shots, monovalent and bivalent boosters.
