PLANS DISCUSSED TO IMPROVE MATH AND READING

West Virginia State School Superintendent David Roach says he knows what it will take for West Virginia schools to improve math and reading test scores.  Roach told the state Board of Education yesterday that he has a plan to prioritize reading, writing and math in the elementary schools to give younger learners a solid foundation.  COVID-19 did quite a number on test scores across the country, but some of the biggest dips were with students in our state.
