Two men were arrested last night, following a traffic stop on Interstate 68 Westbound, and now face drug distribution charges. The driver, Joseph Leroy Miles had been driving on a suspended license, and was on probation for drug distribution. Deputies from the Allegany County Sheriff’s Department found a large quantity of suspected marijuana, cocaine and oxycodone, along with nearly $1190 in cash. Also arrested was Alvin Lamont Battiste, who faces similar charges. Both were taken to the Allegany County Detention Center, to await their initial appearance in District Court.
