PA. TO GET $98 MILLION IN FEDERAL FUNDING FOR HEALTH DEPARTMENT

Pennsylvania is set to get over 98-million-dollars from the federal government for upgrades at the state health department. The money from the Centers for Disease Control will pay for staffing and planning upgrades, as well as data modernization. Acting Secretary of Health Dr. Denise Johnson says the measures will help the state be better  prepared  for health prevention and preparedness efforts.
