ELECTION RESULTS CERTIFIED WITH JUST DAYS TO GO BEFORE WINNERS TAKE OFFICE

Department of State officials in Pennsylvania say they’ve now fully certified results from the mid-term elections in November. That’s after recount petitions in nearly 30 counties delayed the process. The acting secretary of state issued a statement Tuesday that says all certifications have been completed as of late last week. The official rulings came just 12 days before members of Congress and state lawmakers are set to be sworn in on January 3rd.
