Police have released the names of the Maryland man and woman who died last Friday evening in an apparent murder-suicide at the Coolfont Resort in Berkeley Springs. The victim was identified as 41-year-old Jessica Craver, while the shooter was August Schillinger, 48-years old. Schillinger was waiting on Craver to leave the resort around 9 p.m. When she spotted Schillinger, she began running through the parking lot, but he shot her several times, using two different handguns. He then turned the gun on himself. The shootings were captured on the resort’s video surveillance system.
