TECHNICAL SCHOOLS AWARDED $1.2 MILLION FROM STATE EDUCATION DEPT.

The Pennsylvania Department of Education has announced it’s giving over a million dollars to career and technical schools throughout the state.  The funds are designated for buying new equipment to train students in what they call high-demand positions.  Locally, both Dauphin and York County each received 50-thousand-dollars and a tech school for the Perry and Cumberland areas got just under 27-thousand. The Technical Institute in Adams County also will receive over 47-thousand-dollars.
