SHAPIRO STRESSING BIPARTISANSHIP, ADDING MORE G.O.P. MEMBERS TO TEAM

Democratic Governor-elect Josh Shapiro will take office later this month and says he’s taking what he learned about bipartisanship on the campaign trail to the state Capitol. Shapiro served two terms as the state’s attorney general. He was also a former state lawmaker and county commissioner, so he says he possibly has a better understanding about what it takes to get legislation through. Shapiro also hopes the Republicans he’s added to his transition team can help to avoid deeply partisan activity.  He takes office January 17th.
