Jury selection will begin Monday in the trial for suspended Somerset County District Attorney Jeff Thomas for allegedly assaulting a woman in 2021. The trial is not set to begin until March 8th, as a motion to postpone the trial was granted, due to “witness availability.” Thomas was arrested in September for allegedly physically and sexually assaulting a Windber woman in her home.
