SAXTON MAN SENTENCED FOR SHOOTING CHILD WITH PELLET GUN

Saxton, Pennsylvania resident Leo Ramsey has been sentenced to nearly two years in jail for accidentally shooting a child in the head with a pellet gun. He pleaded guilty in November to one count of reckless endangerment. He was charged last January, following a December, 2021 incident in which he was reportedly “target practicing” with the gun, and accidentally shot the child in the temple area who allegedly ran in front of him. Police say the incident was “completely avoidable.”
