Alcohol prices are going up in the Keystone State. Officials with the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board said late last week that prices for wine and liquor sold in stores throughout the commonwealth will increase this month by four-percent. State authorities say the increase, set to go into effect on January 15th, is needed to boost revenues to cover operating costs over the past four years. The last time the P-L-C-B increased prices was in 2019.
