JUDGE ORDERS ANOTHER DELAY IN COUNCIL PRESIDENT’S ETHICS CASE

A hearing over an alleged ethics violation involving Baltimore City Council President Nick Mosby is being postponed until February 2nd.  A judge ordered the delay to give the Ethics Board time to respond to a memo filed by Mosby’s attorney seeking to overturn the finding.  The board asked the judge to toss out the memo, but when he refused, the board was given until the end of the month to file its response.   The board ruled Mosby illegally solicited donations to cover legal expenses for himself and his wife, former City State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby.
