(Calabasas, CA) — Lisa Marie Presley is dead at the age of 54. Her mother confirmed the news in a statement to PEOPLE on Thursday, calling her “the most passionate, strong and loving woman I have ever known.” Presley, who is the daughter of Elvis and Priscilla Presley, was hospitalized in southern California earlier Thursday with possible cardiac arrest. She just attended the Golden Globes on Tuesday to support actor Austin Butler in his win of Best Actor for his portrayal of Elvis. Presley was previously married to pop superstar Michael Jackson and actor Nicolas Cage. Her music career included the release of three studio albums, with her debut “To Whom It May Concern” reaching Number Five on the Billboard 200 albums chart following its release in 2003.
