MAN KILLED IN SINGLE QUEMAHONING CRASH

Forty-year-old Ronald Druist was killed in a single-vehicle crash this past weekend on Route 4019, Plank Road. Druist was southbound, when he lost control of the vehicle, crossing into the oncoming lane, then back into the southbound lane, before leaving the railroad. The vehicle then struck several embankments and went airborne before crashing head-on into a tree. He was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
