ALLEGANY COUNTY COVID LEVEL LISTED AS “LOW”

The Allegany County COVID-19 Community Level has been listed as “low,” as of Thursday. The percentage of the fully-vaccinated residents is at 57.5 per cent. Since the pandemic began, there have been 21,341 cases reported, with a cumulative count of those who have died at 384. The local positivity rate is 8.89 per cent, with the state rate at 11.01 percent. Cases per 100,000 are at 15.42, while the state rate is at 11.53. Free drive-thru testing continues to take place at the Allegany County Fairgrounds on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays; COVID vaccinations, by appointment, are taking place on Wednesdays at the Allegany County Health Department.
