CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST KROGER

Union Kroger workers in Virginia and West Virginia are filing a class-action lawsuit against Kroger.  This all stems from their new MyTime payroll system.  According to Matthew Handley, of the law firm of Handley Farah and Anderson, some employees have not been paid for weeks, some had to quit and find other jobs, and some are being paid less than  their contract states.  If the United Food and Commercial Workers Local 400 Union wins the lawsuit, compensation may only be what they are owed.  However, a federal law could help them receive compensation for damages.
