Hundreds of gun safety advocates gathered in Annapolis Tuesday to call for tougher firearm laws in Maryland. Maryland state Delegates and Senators, Comptroller Brooke Lierman and Governor Wes Moore addressed the crowd in front of the Maryland Statehouse. He says illegal guns have no place in society and the state will work to create laws to remove them. Lawmakers have filed several gun-related bills this session including one that would raise the age to buy rifles and shotguns to 21. Another measure would create tighter requirements for gun storage and there is a bill that would restrict guns in some public places.
