Kitzmiller resident Dereck Allen Gank remains in jail on charges of sexual abuse of a minor and related counts. Gank specifically was charged with sexual abuse of a minor, third and fourth-degree sex offense and second-degree assault. The alleged offenses had been taking place since January 1st. The investigation leading to his arrest was begun on February 2nd by the Garrett County Sheriff’s Office.
