SANTOS REPORTEDLY CHARGED IN 2017 FOR BAD CHECKS IN PA.

U.S. Rep. George Santos was reportedly charged with theft in Pennsylvania five years ago for writing 15-thousand-dollars’ worth of bad checks. Politico reports that Santos was charged in York County with theft by deception after purchasing dogs for his animal-rescue charity in Staten Island. The political news site says the embattled Congressman was able to get the charge dismissed and his record expunged by saying someone else had written the checks after his checkbook was stolen.
