The suspects who allegedly planned to attack electrical substations in Maryland are now formally charged with conspiracy to destroy an energy facility. The indictment of Sarah Beth Clendaniel and Brandon Clint Russell was handed up today by a federal grand jury in Baltimore. The woman from Catonsville and man from Orlando, Florida are accused of plotting to shoot and destroy several substations in the Baltimore area to further their extremist, racial and ethnic beliefs. They remain behind bars following their arrests earlier this month. If found guilty, they each face up to 20 years in federal prison.
