MD. CONGRESSIONAL DELEGATION ANNOUNCES VIOLENCE PREVENTION FUNDING

Maryland’s Congressional delegation announces more than 5-point-1-million-dollars in federal funding to bolster gun violence prevention in the state. The lawmakers say the funding makes critical investments in resources and programs that will pave the way for earlier intervention and better targeting of factors that lead to gun violence. Some of the programs include those dealing with extreme risk protective orders, specialized crisis intervention and behavioral health violence deflection.
