Two West Virginia women are dead and a Springfield man has been charged with DUI causing death, following a crash Saturday on Route 28 near Springfield. Points resident Nancy Alvarado and Debra Arbaugh of Springfield died when 63-year-old Ronald Hore turned into their path. He is now being held in the Potomac Highlands Regional Jail in Augusta. The crash was reported around 6:20 p.m. Volunteer fire and rescue units from Springfield, Romney and Fort Ashby responded, as well as law enforcement agencies and medical examiner Christy Duckwall.
