The city of Cumberland has agreed to sell 19 Frederick Street to Clock Tower Ventures, LLC-based in Washington County-for one dollar. The intent is to develop the building into a fully functioning business within two years. The contract does require the investors to achieve various levels of restoration over an 18 to 24 month period, to restore the building to operational standards. Clock Tower Ventures has plans to develop the building into a unique bar and events space, along with Airbnb rentals on the upper floors.
