MARYLAND COVID POSITIVITY FALLS BELOW 8 PER CENT

One of Maryland’s key COVID metrics is falling.  The state health department reports the testing positivity rate has fallen below eight-percent for the first time since late November.  It had risen to over 15-percent late last year, but has been falling ever since.  Meanwhile, the state added nearly 700 cases, 27 additional virus-related deaths and hospitalizations are up by two, to 413.
