COVID LEVEL LISTED AS “LOW”

The Allegany County COVID-19 level is back to “low” status, as of last Thursday. Over half, 57.5 per cent, have received a complete primary COVID vaccine series. The local positivity rate is well below the state average, at 5.59 per cent; the state checks in with 7.74 per cent. Cases per 100,000 are at 10.35 with the state reporting 7.68. Free drive-in testing is still being held at the Allegany County Fairgrounds on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. COVID vaccine clinics are every Wednesday at the Allegany County Health Department on Willowbrook Road.
