Cumberland’s Community Development Director for over 30 years, Jay Oliver, has passed at the age of 73. He is survived by his wife, Jody, two daughters and two sons-in-law. Friends are being received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home on Virginia Avenue this Friday, from noon to 1 p.m. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. The family is asking that, in memory of Jay, you donate to the Alzheimer’s Association, in lieu of flowers.
