A man found guilty of killing a Naval Academy mother will likely die behind bars. A judge sentenced Angelo Harrod to multiple life prison terms for the June 2021 stray bullet shooting death of Michelle Cummings, who was sitting on a patio outside of an Annapolis hotel. She was visiting Maryland from Houston, Texas for her son’s induction ceremony. The 31-year-old Harrod was convicted of first and second degree murder, among other charges.
