Former Baltimore State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby’s federal trial won’t start until the fall. A judge has set a trial date of November 2nd, with jury selection scheduled to begin on October 31st. Earlier this year the trial was delayed for a third time because Mosby’s defense team withdrew from the case. She was assigned a federal public defender who said he needed time to prepare for the trial. Mosby faces charges that include perjury and making false mortgage statements in the purchase of two Florida vacation homes.
