CLAYSBURG MAN CHARGED WITH ATTEMPTED HOMICIDE

Claysburg resident Robert Short is being held on a half-million dollars bond, following a domestic incident earlier this week. A caller to 911 said Short had become physical with her two-year-old child, and when the caller confronted Short, he began firing a pistol inside the residence. The caller then fled the residence, on Edgewood Street, with her two children. Short was later taken into custody and charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault and making terroristic threats.
