Weekly jobless claims are down slightly across Maryland. The U.S. Labor Department reports about 17-hundred newly-unemployed Marylanders filed first-time claims for jobless benefits last week. That’s about 30 fewer than the previous week. Nationally, 211-thousand Americans sought benefits for an increase of 21-thousand.
