MD Health has a new plan to improve recruitment efforts in the healthcare field. State leaders announced yesterday the Maryland Loan Repayment Program has been expanded. Eligible health care providers and support staff can now get loans anywhere between five-thousand and 100-thousand-dollars to help with education costs. DPH Secretary Dr. Jinlene Chan said this will help retain nurses, physicians and other health care professionals. Applications for the program will be accepted through the middle of next month.
