B.L.M. ACTIVIST TO PLEAD GUILTY

A Black Lives Matter activist from Wisconsin plans to plead guilty to charges stemming from a 2020 confrontation in  Bedford County. Orsino Thurman was scheduled to go to trial next week, but jury selection was cancelled after he agreed to enter a plea in the case. During a march to Washington, D.C. in August of 2020, he got into an altercation with Bedford resident Terry Myers; Thurman was shot and wounded. He was extradited to Pennsylvania in 2021 following a police incident in Illinois. A plea hearing is scheduled for March 30th.
