FORMER HOGAN AIDE REMAINS A FUGITIVE

A manhunt is underway for a former Hogan administration aide who skipped out on his federal fraud and embezzlement trial in Baltimore.  The U.S. Marshals Service has issued an arrest warrant and released a wanted poster of Roy McGrath saying it has initiated an interstate fugitive investigation.  The former governor’s chief of staff was due in court Monday but he never showed up despite plans to fly to Baltimore from his home in Florida. McGrath’s wife and defense attorney have both expressed concerns regarding his welfare. McGrath allegedly arranged a big severance payout for himself when he left a state-run nonprofit to join the administration and forged documents to make it seem like the governor approved.
