Maryland State Police have arrested a man accused of assaulting and robbing a woman last week in Latrobe. Investigators report the suspect victimized the woman in an apartment building elevator last Monday stealing her cash and car keys at the start of the ride and giving them back at the end. The keys returned however actually belonged to someone else who police say turned out to be a friend of suspect Heath Rankin. Police report the incident was caught on surveillance video. Rankin was taken into custody yesterday.
