Maryland State Police are confirming there are multiple fatalities in a crash on the west side of Baltimore. The single-vehicle crash happened in a construction zone on I-695, the Baltimore Beltway, near Security Boulevard. At least six people were killed and one person was critically injured, according to a tweet from the Baltimore County Volunteer Firefighter’s Association. At last word, the beltway was closed in both directions.
