A fire destroyed a home at 11401 Creek Road on Tuesday. Damages are estimated at $33,000 to the home owned by Ronald Lytle and Dawn Williams. Ms.Williams reportedly lived in the two-story residence. It has been determined the fire began on the front porch, but it’s not known how the fire started. And, it was unclear if the home had a working smoke detector. The blaze was reported around 5 p.m., and about 25 firefighters from both Allegany and Mineral Counties took about 25 minutes to bring it under control.
