Another fake school threat was received Friday morning by the Bedford County School District. A text message received by parents pointed to a threat at the Bedford County Middle School; a lockdown was initiated. These so-called “swatting calls” were received earlier last week at other counties, including Cambria, Centre, and Blair. Swatting calls are hoax phone calls, designed to draw a large police response to a specific location.
