The project to make West Virginia State Route 622 a bit wider is getting off the ground. After years of planning the state Division of Highways is looking over two bids that were submitted. In the end, route 622 will be widened to five lanes through the heart of Cross Lanes. Of course, that is going to bring along some headaches of the already busy, narrow stretch of road restricted further.
