Garrett County resident Christopher Beitzel has been charged with several felonies, after investigators found two improvised explosive devices at his home late last week. Homeowners in the 2100-block of Aiken Road in Accident found an “M-80” on their property and it was tested for fingerprints, which led to Beitzel. A search warrant was conducted at his home in the 3200-block of Accident-Bittinger Road, where other similar devices were found. He was charged and was remanded to the Garrett County Detention Center, where he is being held without bond.
