TWO SENTENCED IN FEDERAL CHILD PORNOGRAPHY CASE

Petersburg, West Virginia residents Jasper and Christine Shook were sentenced in federal court for creating and distributing sexual images of a minor under the age of 12. Both were sentenced to more than 30 years in prison, after pleading guilty last year to child pornography charges. Jasper Shook messaged an undercover FBI agent through an app, bragging about sexual contact with a minor and sending sexually explicit images of a child. A search warrant was executed with electronic devices seized, which contained child pornography; some of the other images showed the Shooks. The FCI and West Virginia State Police investigated.
