Maryland Governor Wes Moore says his state is going to lead in regard to protecting reproductive health. The Democrat said Sunday on ABC’s “This Week” that Maryland will have at least a three-year stockpile of the abortion drug mifepristone. Moore added that the state legislature recently passed bills focusing on increasing access and privacy, as well as making sure women who come to Maryland don’t feel criminalized. Governor Moore also said he would move aggressively to crack down on crime in Baltimore by focusing on expansion of mental health care and increasing funding for local law enforcement.
